The Urban knife from Spyderco is a Slipit, which means the blade doesn't lock open. The non-locking pocket knife has grown in popularity in large part because of ever tightening legislation regarding permissible knives in large metropolitan areas.
This Urban features a Wharcliffe style VG-10 stainless steel blade with a plain edge and a full flat grind. The safety orange G-10 handle is textured and the blade has notching, or jimping at the index choil and on the spine thumb ramp for great user control. The screw handle construction allows the user to clean and adjust their knife. The Urban features a reversible tip-up wire pocket clip.
