The EnTrek Buffalo Knife is robust enough to handle the tough chores like building shelter and other camp and utility work.
The Buffalo is a 7" blade version of the Bison. The blade is made of 440C stainless steel, with a bead blast finish. The blade is heat treated, sub-zero stabilized and double drawn to 57-58 RC. This gives a combination of toughness, edge holding and corrosion resistance that is hard to match. Jimping on the blade allows for extra grip.
The handle is made of black canvas micarta that not only looks good but it also provides a very good gripping surface. Micarta is impervious to heat, cold, oil, water and other things that would destroy most handle materials.
The sheath is made from Kydex and features a belt loop.
